Amerikai kapcsolatok :) / American relations :)

For me May was a great month since it was filled with big meetings. First of all, a friend of mine who lives in New York visited me. I surprised her with a braclet the pattern of which is very similar to Mu's Fordan.
Last Friday I met Anikó who I also got to know in NY but I hadn't seen her for almost 3 years. There's no good reason why since we both live in Hungary now.
It was absolutely fantastic to see her again and I made her the Panita kind of bracelet which I hope will bring her luck in the future.

Being a creative blogger again

Hazatérve a francia fővárosból ismét meglepetés várt rám a blogon :) A világ másik végéről, Ausztráliából Belinda ajándékozott meg a Kreatív Blogger díjjal :) Nagyon-nagyon köszönöm!

Mivel a magyarországi ajándékozási láncban már volt szerencsém kifejteni azt a hét dolgot, amit fontosnak tartok magamról, úgy döntöttem, ezúttal összefoglalom őket angolul, illetve továbbítani is külföldi kedvenceimnek fogom :)

While I was away on a trip in the French capital city, Paris, Belinda surprised me with the Creative Blogger Award. I was extremely pleased to find her comment about it in my blog and now I'm happy to reveal the seven things I consider the most important about me.

1. First and foremost, I belong to the optimistic part of the world. It took quite a while, though, to learn how to follow the positive attitude to life.

2. The three things I find the most important in a relationship are honesty, trustfulness and faith.

3. I’m mad about travelling and hiking. As I have already mentioned, I have just arrived back from a short trip in Paris :) It was absolutely amazing!

I also love sunshine, the glittering blue of the sea, the snowy mountain peaks…
However, I hate mass tourism so I never go to places which are trendy.

In my opinion the best-ever places in the world are Rome and Corsica.

4. I used to live in London, Atlanta and New York. These periods of my life were full of fun and enjoyment, however, I would never leave my home country again. I would miss my family, my friends and actually everything around me.

5. I love having a cup of coffee latte in cafés while chatting with my friends. Starbucks is my old-time favourite :)

6. My goddaughter makes me the happiest nowadays. She is only three years old but I think she is the cutest girl in the world :) - I know I’m a little bit partial towards her :)

7. And finally I'll let you know about my other addiction. It's doing jigsaw puzzles. They are not only challenging but also make me relaxed and calm.

Well, it's time now to pick those who I would like to award with this prize. I wish I could give it back to Belinda, because I really think she is one of the most talented beader. However, I don't think I'm allowed to do it :(
So, the other favourit artists who I admire are

Girls! The jewels you can create from beads are fantastic! Congratulations!!!

Kislánykáknak / For little girls

My ex-neighbour asked me to make a bracelet for her sister's 5- and 7-year-old daughters. When I was planning what to make I thought that children are usually mad about flowers and ladybugs - as well as I realised that the latter is the patron saint of children.
Of course, it gave me the choice to luxuriate in peyot and I did even draw the patterns :) Although they are rather simple and easy to make if anybody feels like beading them they can facilitate the work :)

Legújabb befoglalásom / My latest bezeling

This gemstone was given to me a couple of weeks ago with the request for bezeling and making a necklace which goes well with it. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the 'naked' gemstone so I can only show you the completed jewellery.
Since it is quite huge (7 cm long and 3,5 cm wide) I didn't give it any extra outfit but used the simple peyot technique which I fancy the most nowadays :) And what presented the greatest difficulty was that the stone was rather slim so it kept slipping out of my hands. Consequently, if you check it carefully you will see that at some points the beads don't fit perfectly. However, it's really steady - the stone surely won't slip out of the frame.
The most time-consuming task was to make the herring-bone necklace. I chose it because I really wanted to make something attractive and stout to harmonize with the size of the pendant. This was also my first try to make a herring-bone pattern and Aniko gave me a great help - she explained me how to put the twist in it. Thanks a lot Aniko!

Újra játék / Games again

Niro a nem kerek számok, Norita pedig a közelgő 100. látogató (ami már jócskán túl is lépte a 100-at!!!) alkalmából hírdetett játékot.
Én pedig úgy gondoltam, hogy mindkettőjükhöz bejelnetkezek :)

Niro announced a game on the occasion of her non- round-figures :)
Norita wanted to celebrate her almost 100th visitors the number of which is now even higher!!!
So I thought I would enroll both of their games :)
